What does the Treasury yield curve show?
The Treasury par yield curve is a set of published yields across Treasury maturities for a given observation date. This lookup displays the official values as reported; the rates are quoted in percent, and a blank or “N/A” Treasury field remains unavailable rather than being filled or interpolated here. It is a data lookup, not a bond valuation or forecast.
The table covers the maturity fields included in Treasury’s daily par yield curve CSV: 1 month, 1.5 months, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, 7 years, 10 years, 20 years, and 30 years. Use the year selector to request that year’s official CSV; the date selector then lists only dates present in that response. Treasury may not publish a new observation for every calendar day.
Units and date: Each numeric value is a percentage yield for the date shown. The observation date is supplied by Treasury; “retrieved” gives the browser’s local date and time when the page last loaded that year’s data. The CSV download link changes with the selected year.
Source and method: Data are fetched from the U.S. Treasury’s Daily Treasury Par Yield Curve Rates page and its CSV export. Treasury describes its official curve as a par curve derived with a monotone convex method using indicative bid-side market quotations, rather than actual transactions; see its Treasury Yield Curve Methodology (revised 2025-02-18). Retrieved data are not independently altered by this page.
The feed requires an internet connection and may be unavailable or delayed. Displayed historical observations can be subject to source corrections. Par curve rates are not the same as a particular security’s purchase yield; security cash flows, price, settlement and features matter. This page provides educational data access, not investment advice.
Frequently asked questions
What does “par yield” mean here?
It is the Treasury-published par yield curve value for the listed maturity and observation date. Treasury’s methodology page describes how the official curve is derived; this lookup reproduces the reported CSV fields.
Why is a value shown as N/A?
The Treasury CSV does not provide a numeric value for that maturity on that date. This page preserves that missing value and does not interpolate it.
Are these live prices or yields for a specific bond?
No. They are dated Treasury curve observations, not a live quote or a yield calculation for an individual security.
When was the data retrieved?
The status line shows when the selected year’s CSV was retrieved in your browser’s local time, along with Treasury’s observation date for the displayed row.
