MarketPlain is an independent educational project for readers who want to understand financial calculations and market terminology. Its planned library combines browser-based tools, question-led guides, and sourced market recaps.

Our editorial approach

Calculators should explain their inputs, formulas, assumptions, and limits. Recaps should identify their data sources and timestamps. Missing or unavailable data should be labeled, never filled in with invented figures. Educational examples should be distinguished from market observations.

How we plan to fund the site
